Lake Zurich families are some of my absolute favorites to photograph — and that is not just something I say to everybody. (Though I do like everybody, generally.) The lake itself creates some genuinely beautiful backdrops, especially in spring and fall when the light and the colors do all the heavy lifting.
I'm Kiley, a family photographer based in nearby Barrington who regularly photographs families throughout Lake Zurich and the surrounding northwest suburbs. I've been doing this for over 12 years and my primary job is to make your session feel nothing like a photo session — in the best possible way.

Lake Zurich Session Locations
Lake Zurich Paulus Park along the lakefront is a gorgeous, versatile location that works in every season. The open fields and tree lines are especially stunning for fall family portraits. We can also shoot at neighborhood parks, wooded preserves near Route 12, or at my studio in Barrington if you'd rather stay indoors. Vehe Barn on the border of Deer Park and Lake Zurich is always an amazing option.
Your call — I'm flexible. Down for anything - as long as you aren't absolutely crazy.
My sessions are designed to be fun.
Not "fun" in the way where everyone is secretly stressed and the four-year-old is bribed with candy — actually fun. I direct your family through prompts and activities that create real interaction and real smiles, not the kind that disappear the second I lower my camera.
Full Sessions are about an hour, include 30+ professionally edited digital images, and all retouching is included. I also have a client closet with wardrobe options if you need outfit help, and I'm happy to do a quick pre-session planning call so nobody shows up surprised. I'm always offering mini-sessions year round, which include 10 images for $575.
